We offer short term consulting services for universities, organizations, community and technical colleges. We offer services such as establishing and assessing International Programs (study abroad and F, J and M visa holders coming to the U.S., including English Language Programs; Guidance on policies and procedures; Assistance in determining international admissions criteria and all immigration aspects related to international education and can created custom training to suit your needs. A few examples of what we have provided for other clients include:
Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP)
F-Visas (degree seeking students)
- SEVP for Beginners. We will provide an overview of SEVP and SEVIS, including the history, management of non-immigrant students, duties of school officials and the certifications needed to host them on your campus.
- Initial SEVP Certification. We will guide you on interpreting and implementing the federal regulations (8 CFR 214.3) which govern initial SEVP school certification and requirements and ongoing duties for certified schools.
- Maintaining School Records and maintaining the Form I-17. We will provide an overview of federal regulation 8 CFR 214.3, rules for maintaining school records and the Form I-17 petition as well as an overview of the recertification process.
- School Officials. We can provide initial and/or ongoing training to your Principal Designated School Official (PDSO) and any Designated School Officials (DSOs).
J-Visas (exchange visitor programs (EVP) including students and scholars)
- SEVP for Beginners. We will provide an overview of the EVP, including the history, the various categories available and the responsibilities of school officers.
- Initial SEVP Certification. We will guide you on interpreting and implementing the federal regulations (22 CFR § 62.2) which govern initial SEVP school designation and requirements and ongoing duties for designated schools.
- Managing your Designated Program. We will guide you on managing your exchange visitor program, redesignation, Pay.gov requirements, program updates and sponsor requirements, and annual reports using best practices that fully comply with Department of State requirements.
- Maintaining Exchange Visitor Records. We will provide guidance for best practices for managing your exchange visitor records
- School Officials. We can provide initial and/or ongoing training to your Responsible Officers (RO) and any Alternative Responsible Officers (AROs).
